My web presence is a Facebook page.  I created my Facebook page so that I could keep in touch with a good portion of my friends.  A lot of my friends that I made in middle and high school still live in my hometown or close to it.  Since I chose to move away for college, I don’t get to see them very often.  Facebook is a way for me to talk to them and see what they have been up to.  On my Facebook, I have photos of different events in my life such as vacations, prom, and football games.  I also have pictures of my girlfriend and me throughout our relationship.  The images of my girlfriend and me let other people know that I am in a relationship and represents to other females that I am happily taken.  Other photos of riding fourwheelers and hunting may appeal to my guy friends because they can look at them and think of all the memories the pictures symbolize.  Other than my relationship status, my Facebook also has my sibling’s and parent’s names, and my religious and political views.  The views I have in religion and politics may be shared by other friends that I have.  My page clearly states that I am a Christian and go to church, and that I am a republican.  My Facebook is not flashy and doesn’t have much to look at, but the people who look at it may think that I am a nice guy that is family oriented, likes to do anything outdoors, and loves his girlfriend.  Other than staying close to my friends in my hometown, I can use my Facebook in the future by getting to know new people I meet throughout my life, and to help schedule events that are going on around me.
